Win PCs. Build skills. Level up life.
PCGiveaway.com started with facing this odd, unexpected life realization:
After 20 years in IT and business ownership (a stress combo for sure!), why do I still want to build PCs as a hobby, and furthermore how IN THE WORLD is this so relaxing?!
Of all the IT and business stress I've experienced, the micro focus back to that basic PC feels "personal", welcoming, friendly, not overwhelming. More like canvas to me - "Let's see what options we have for our next build" - those are my first thoughts, like a kid about to paint.
I’ve enjoyed building computers for years as a hobby (not to be mixed up with business class IT systems) and the best moments aren’t achieving perfection. Perfection is not my goal when building a PC. It's a mix of enjoying the latest advancements in CPU's, motherboards, GPU's, ext. and that freedom to choose a case that "feels good" to you. It's a mix of Creating, learning, and a whole lot of winning - completing the build, concurring all issues, and sitting back to relax with a new, or retro, video game of your personal preference.
The sensory experience of building with your hands is the best, but I found that I enjoyed helping others build their first PC nearly as much - so long as they weren't frustrated striving for perfection 🤣. Upon finishing a recent build (I was mostly hands off) that I walked a friend through "learning how to build a PC to give you some experience", I told him. But, at the end shared a nice moment with him as I simply said, "Good Job, this is your PC now, Merry Christmas".
That moment I realized a fusion of 2 favorites for me: PC's + Giving. I shared the connection with him still. What games are you playing lately? How's the PC doing? How many people have you told "I built my on PC"? 😊 Fun times still to this day.
So here we are... seeing if we can expand this moment beyond my cabin \ studio.
Would you like to be part of the journey?
The Vision and a work in progress - I'd like help, let's grow together!
- Regular PC Giveaways (often livestreamed). We introduce the build, draw a winner, and share their story. You’ll see real proof, brief winner clips before/after delivery and an unboxing when it lands.
- Community. A positive, encouraging Discord Server where beginners get help, helpers get thanks, and everyone keeps learning. I desire a place where beginners are respected as adults, professionals in other fields of work, to young adults who will one day have a family of their own, raise kids of their own and say, "Let's build a PC together".
- A page for every build. A clean consistent 10 step process, with each part, pricing context, and a quick YouTube overview. Under that lives the extended, step‑by‑step class version, calm, slow, and easy to follow at your pace.
- Accessory drops. Keyboards, mice, headsets, and other gear between full PC giveaways.
Beyond the Giveaway's: Why it matters
Most people won’t win a free PC, and that’s okay. PC's are Great... Free or not, they'll end up in the dump someday 🥲 But skills are for life. Everyone can win the skills to build a PC - and those skills took me FAR - sharing that, giving those skills => that's really living. Building teaches problem‑solving, patience, and a quiet confidence that carries into strategic games, challenges with (or at) school, and work. If you want a clear path into tech (or just to be the friend people call when a PC won’t boot), you’re in the right place to hang with us.

Our build philosophy
- Approachable budgets. Most feature builds target ~$1,500–$2,000 so guides fit many.
- Quarterly refresh. New parts lists each quarter; last quarter’s often become great budget picks.
- Simple over perfect. If a choice adds friction, we swap it. Goal: a smooth, confident first power‑on.
- You’re the hero. No gatekeeping. We teach, cheer, and help you finish strong.
Our promises
- Fair draws. Randomized selection via a reputable system; one person = one entry (plus clearly labeled bonus actions). https://www.random.org/
- Clear rules. Plain‑language Official Rules on each giveaway page.
- Proof over promises. Verified winners and public documentation. This means we'll need pictures or clips from winners per terms & conditions to share prooft with others.
- Straight talk. Some links are affiliate links; using them costs you nothing and helps fund future builds.
- Respect for your time/data. Low‑frequency, high‑value notifications; unsubscribe anytime.
